When you record a prompt snippet, your video is encrypted and locked in an isolated room vault. Neither squad mates nor server moderators can stream or preview your clip until everyone has locked in their contribution or the deadline window closes.
Squirrel does not run background location collectors, ad tracker pixels, biometric facial recognition models, or contact address book uploaders.
When a squad mate invites a friend via SMS, the recipient clicks into their mobile browser without creating a permanent account. We do not place persistent tracking cookies on guest devices. The phone number is verified via a one-way salt hash solely to authorize the prompt session.
Your squad owns its chronicle. Any room host or member can delete their individual clip or vote to wipe a shared reel from the squad timeline at any time. Once purged, files are erased from physical storage immediately.

You agree not to harvest, screenshot, or export private squad tapes for unauthorized public distribution without the unanimous consent of every participant featured.
While prompts encourage raw, unfiltered glimpses of real life, Squirrel strictly forbids illegal content, non-consensual recordings, hate speech, defamation, or harassment. Room members who violate safety guidelines are subject to instant squad expulsion and permanent key revocation.
By recording and submitting a snippet into a prompt window (15M / 1H / Rolling), you grant Squirrel || HQ permission to automatically concatenate and deliver that session's multi-perspective video diary directly to your verified squad room. You retain full copyright ownership of your likeness and individual media.

No. The Squirrel blind capture system stores each snippet in isolated cryptographic storage. Until all invited members hit submit or the timer expires, no device can peek at another clip.
When you add a friend who doesn't have the app installed, they receive an encrypted SMS link. Clicking it opens a private web camera inside mobile Safari or Chrome where they can record and submit blind with zero download requirements.
